Sheikh Muszaphar - Malaysia’s first astronaut

Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is set to become the first Malaysian to travel into the space.
Sheikh Muszaphar will blast off aboard a Russian-built Soyuz space craft en route to the international space station along with Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and US astronaut Peggy Whitson. They blast off from the Russian-leased Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on October 10 which was tonight.

I was watching the launching of the space craft to orbit and i cant help but feel proud of what Malaysia achived on becoming one of the counries that's gone to space! How cool is that and the female that was on the space craft was in the programme for the 2nd time! you go girl!

The four malaysians vying for the one and only spot to space. And the one in red tie is cute dont you reckon so :)

Well that's that, the other thing i was looking at was actually the astronaut himself..he is gorgeous! beautiful smile, tall and looking good for an astrounaut :) His pictures all looking like model shots which was nice even my mom was saying that he look really handsome and is no wonder he was selected...if it was left to me indeed i will choose him to spend my 2 days launch into orbit..god knows what we can do inside the space craft in 2 days cooped up lke that and floating some more :)) hahahah...gosh! anyways...sheikh deary...godspeed and take care and best of luck and keep up the goos looks! eh silap! hahaha...keep up the goos work ;)

These are the two Malaysian Astronauts that was in the final and only one was chosen :) Obviously the tall and handsome one was chosen i would have chosen him myself too hahaha :)Now who would you choose between the two gus up there? :)

he's not an ASTRONAUT he's just a SPACEFLIGHT PARTICIPANT but hey the former sounds reaaaaally good isnt? LOL
by the way he got that chance of 'going into the space' not thru his credibility but rather being lucky as a deal made when the malaysian government bought that sukhoi fighters from the russian. under this agreement the russian bore the cost of training two malaysians for space travel and for sending one to the International Space Station (ISS) in October 2007...
at most he can be called a COSMONAUT
geez why so many malaysians are blindly and grandiosely proud of that?
