2009 and 2010 anniversaries :)

Anniversaries :)
Last year i didnt get to blog about our outings during our 1st anniversary of our marriage due to flying here and there and so just never got the time to dig out the photos until now. So here are the photos of our anniversaries of 2009 in Nantes and 2010 in KK, Sabah :)

Our bubbles :)

Just after Dinner @ the hotel

The morning after the anniversary Dinner we went for a short tour of Nantes before we head back to Beauvoir to get ready for our departure back to Angola. All in all it was a wonderful time out with each other just to celebrate privately our 1st anniversary :)

2010
Location: Rasa Ria Resort
Pantai Dalit Beach, Kota Kinabalu
89208, Malysia

In 2010, we were fortunate enough to be in KK, Sabah during our 2nd wedding anniversary and it was definitely a memorable weekend together and time out from the hustle and bustle of the busy city and just escape to this magnificent paradise and revisit the Orang Utan which we visited during when we were still engaged to each other back then and promised that we will revisit the orang utan sanctuary again and perhaps stay in the resort the next time we went visiting. And finally during the weekend of our 2nd anniversary we had nothing planned but suddenly hubby thought of a brilliant idea which is to revisit the orang utans and stay for the weekend  at the resort and celebrate our 2nd anniversary there and that is exactly what we did. With the help from the staff at Rasa Ria resort we managed to make some arrangement to have a small cake for us during  our buffet dinner at the Hotel Restaurant called Tepi Laut. It was a double celebration as we were also celebrating hubby's birthday at the same time.

so here are our pictures during our stay at the resort :)

The beautiful beach :)

Our beautiful room :)

Our beach stroll in the evening :)

The night of our anniversry dinner view from our room :)

Cake and the celebration :)

The happy birthday guy with his cake and also the spontaneous birthday singers :)

The day after was our revisit to the Orang Utan Sanctuary which we love very much :) and at 3 months pregnant i was still able to give a small hill a good hike up :)

And here are the little fellows that we could not get enough of looking at them year by year and we promise again to come revisit them gentle hearts and next time it will be three of us :)

Its That time of the year again...

Well it's that time of the year again where we have to + 1 to our age number and this is the 2nd year i get to celebrate my birthday in Luanda, Angola and i hope next year its not going to be the case and im crossing all my fingers and toes that next year i will be somewhere closer to home :)

Like last year we went out in the evening to celebrate my birthday but this time around because of some unforseen trouble with me, we cant go out for dinner instead lunch is very much preferred and so it is :)
And this was the weekend of my birthday.

Just like last year, mon coeur took me to my favourite resteaurant here in Luanda and thats in a place called ¨Coconuts¨ and it was a nice and refreshing place to be after a long while staying indoors, so it was a wonderful change of scenes and the breeze was fantastic and so was the food!

Our food! i like very much the banana Split but after going thru half of it i just cant go on anymore and thank god hubby is there to finish the dessert up for me :)

The view was just fantastic!

And as for the weekend before my birthday, hubby took me to a chinese restaurant called ¨Taiping¨ and it's definately my kinda taste of food and i especially like my  fluffy prawn fritters. simply yummm!

The food :)

Hubby, enjoying his selection of stuffed terung and sweet sour chicken.

AND finally, as i was busy doing the groceries and was wondering where hubby was suddenly he came with a bunch of flowers for me :) merci beaucoup mon coeur for the flower gift made me smile from ear to ear :)

Besides this, we have another birthday present from above that just made my life more beautiful and enriched with happiness is  when we got these....

YES!! we are finally PREGNANT!!
and this tops up all the birthday gift i had this year and more so i got my last year birthday wish realised and a prayer answered from the one above!

Big bisous to everyone and May God Bless us all!

DAY 75 - PORTOBELLO SALSA SPAGHETTI :)

Today i was very much busy doing some work with my studies and was very much engrossed with my reading and stuffs that i didnt noticed that it was late to start dinner....opps!

Then i look in the fridge and all i have is 4 big Portobello Mushrooms and a new freshly baked bread that i made in the morning...was thinking hard what am i going to do in just a short time....

think! think! think!
so i came up with three combined recipe from three countries :)
PORTOBELLOS FARCIS (French)  SPANISH SALSA (Spain) and finally PASTA PUTTANESCA (Italy)
and also not forgetting, the french bread :)
 The french bread
The stuffed portobello Mushroom with Pasta Puttanesca with the Spanish Salsa Topping!

A Voila!
Did all of this in 45 minutes and hubby was really happy and enjoyed the food and wine and he said how can you make something so simple in looks, and taste like it came out from an expensive restaurant and with that i get plenty appreciation and félicitations kisees  from him that night :)

Oh! by the way....this is a vegetarian  too so its really a healthy food :)

We bought two tiny cast iron cooker to make our individual soup with chicken /carrots /leeks and water and seasoned with some salt and pepper
And next we had the Chops too :)
The cooking part is easy but the fire making is hard but once it burns it really burns and with my tiny cast iron cooker it only took just 8 minutes to make our chicken soup yummy :)
then the chops just took us roughly 10 minutes
ah finally we had the BBQ going and here is the end product of it :)

While waiting for our BBQ to cook we went swimming and look at the prestine beach :)
