Mengada-ngada time...

Usually when i'm not feeling well or just on "mintak-puji" mode i will crave for food that i know i will not get like my mom's curry fish for example....So what to do..i was thinking..... i have some nice fish in the fridge and i have just bought some curry powder so i did it my way and make my own curry fish...this just shows i miss home and i miss my mom's cooking...huhuhu :((

so here is my own way of making....

"Chindika Fish Curry"

Well at least i get to satisfy my curry cravings hehehe...thats all that really matters. Thanks mom for the tips on making the fish curry :) and can anyone guess what does "chindika" means? heheheheh......

Lunch with moi :)

Made this for lunch today...still recuperating from a very bad cough and cold. so here is the only lite food i can think of and its a delicious tomato fritata with sausage and tofu



The ingredients

mushrooms, sausage, tomatoes capsicum red, green and yellow, fried tofu
and 2 eggs

Afternoon Lunch Time Melody!

Was just chating online with my aunt just now and was wondering what on earth to cook for lunch and then i went to look at the fridge and saw that i have some seafood that i need to clear out from the fridge and so what else ro do in such a limited time to spare as i ,ve got class later so decided to make "Seafood Paella" and its one of mon coeur's favourite dish and so he said it's delish! :)




Ingredients:

hand full of live prawns & squid
red, yellow and green capsicum + tomatoes (diced)
half cooked rice

Preparation:

sauteed the diced tomatoes & capsicum(s) in a wok with some finely chopped garlic,sharlots and green onions, Then add the half cooked rice and sauteed for another 5 minutes. Then transfer to the pot where you cook the rice with and cook till rice is cooked.

While waiting for the rice to cook, prepare the seafood by stirfrying the prawns and squid with finely chopped garlic+sharlots+green onion and add a little bit of fish sauce and some oyster sauce for 6 mins .

After the seafood is ready, transfer them to the pot where the rice is being cooked and mix well and just let it simmer and cooked together with the rice.

Done and ready to be serve :)

Not feeling well activity :(

So i was not feeling well today so i decided to bake a cake just to pass the time for i have a very bad sore throat and almost losing my voice now but its ok....just wanna keep myself busy so i bake myself a small orange cake :)

My secret indulgence :)

I went for a recent meeting somewhere @ Jalan Raja Chulan last Tuesday and after the meeting i found myself having a fair bit of time to go explore around that area and my first stop was Estana Curry House! I cant believe how my nose works to detect this place as i am not following any maps as i dont know these areas i just know that im hungry AND craving for some curry stuffs as it does feels like ages since my last curry at my mom's place back in KK :( How sad is that!! i used to have curries every single day back in KK coz mom knows how much i loveeeeeeeeeeeee curries....it must be my indian blood speaking out loud when it comes to curries and stuffs so here are the pics of the food i had eaten blissfully on my own and savouring every thing slowly hehehhe...but mind you look @ the bill...my goodness so very the expensive lah!!! but its ok for now its my hungger for indian food is what matters and so i got it!! ;)

Happy Mother's Day Sunday

Well initially we wanted to go and visit KLCC as i have never actually went for the tour itself BUT...unfortunately all the tickets were sold out and according to the lady we had to get in as early as 7.30am to be in the line to get the tickets as per day they are only issuing about 1200 tickets. Unfortunately we were too late. But anyhow, mon coeur had a meeting there at KLCC so i tagged along but i went jalan-jalan at the KLCC shops while he went for the meeting.

I spend mostly my time in the bookstore and reading and reading and called mom a couple of times to see what shes up to and wish her happy mom's day...i miss her and i miss occassions like this back home we use to have a gathering or some sort and this year i miss it :( Mapsy was supposed to post some pics about the gathering but guessed she is busy ....

Mon coeur joined me browsing in the bookstore and before too long we were both are sitting on the floor reading our favourite books on Asian Homes Decor particularly balinese home decor. then we decided to get the book after all as it would be a nice addition to our own little collection back at the condo. Then we went for a simple lunch @ KFC my long time favourite heheheh :) then we went window shopping and ended up mon coeur suprised me with a gift! :)

Happy Mother's Day gift and am not a mom yet heheheh.....thank you very very much for the lovely gift mon coeur and now we are both Issey Miyake fan :)

Then after that we went jalan-jalan outside the KLCC building where there were swimming pool for kiddies and just a nice place to hang about doing nothing just resting your eyes and just observing people. here are some of the shots taken aroun dthe area and some of these shots are taken by either me or mon coeur :)

After KLCC, we head off to Bangsar where we intend to do our groceries shopping and decided to go to the Pasar Malam Kuala Lumpur in Bangsar. I really had wonderful time going thru the pasar for our groceries needs like veges and fruits. Its not only good quality but also very cheap so i'm pretty sure we are going to this pasar malam every sunday for our groceries then.

well there goes another weekend and its going to be a long weekend this week and already im looking forward to that :) anyhow, take care everyone and have a great week ahead!

My dark and handsome desktop!

I finally, finally got my Desktop running thanks to mon coeur :) and it's just like a dream come true coz i dont have to squint my eyes to the wide screen monitor of mon coeur's laptop anymore when im doing my photo editing work so its a very very wonderful treat! I love it! Its built to the suit my needs for editing pictures and organise my photos for me to blog so to mon coeur....thank you, thank you and thank you so so so so much!!! emmuahhh!!




The 17 inch LCD screen is just as i wanted it to be...the normal one and not the Wide screen ones...phew! Thank goodness hehehhe



So with my desktop that we customisely built its all in black to match wt the interior of our working or rather study room which have black furniture as well. So now we both can be working in the same room :)

AND.....not forgetting also...im having a very french keyboard which is really funny but very useful for me at the moment coz it is helping me to get use to french words so have a big impact to help me in my french classes.

Saturday - wangsa maju + lunch + bukit bintang +bangsar = Wonderful Day!

I must say i had the most wonderful and most eventful saturday of my life going from one place to another one whole day non stop. It seemed like every minute is spent doing everything but nothing this saturday and both of us enjoyed the moments to the fullest.

First mission for the day was to go to PUSPAKOM @ Wangsa Maju to where mon coeur's scooter needs to be checked and obtained some documentation to be used for licence plate application @ JPJ at a later stage. So....that means that we will have to ride on the scooter to where we need to go and since i have never in my life riden on a motocycle before so this is a great opportunity for me and i must say it was an exhilirating experience being on one. you feel free and more aware of your surroundings BUT @ the same time i was done near had a heart attack when mon coeur went zig-zagging inbeetween cars in the jam! my goodness i was holding on to his shoulders so tight that by the end of the journey he told me... we should do this a lot more he said because according to him he get's free shoulder massage when i squeeze his shoulders when im nervous on the scooter...heheheh BUT after a while it was ok :) we wrapped things up at PUSPAKOM at about 1:30pm that afternoon... not too bad after all ;) so here are the pics that i can manage to grab when i was riding on the scooter :)

Then we did some work around the house and suddenly mon coeur said let's go jalan-jalan at Wisma Low Yatt or something like that to look at computers for me. So off we went to Bukit Bintang.

After that we decided to have coffee at Gloria Jeans Coffees and just obseving people and enjoy our coffee :)

Then after our coffee we went and continue with out walk and suddenly we are met with a group of youngsters maling street performance on the street so we decided to stay on and watch them dance so here are some of their move....and some funny hairdos hehehe :)

Then we went pass "Planet Hollywood" and mon Coeur seemed to have the same hand as Harisson Ford hahahaha....yeah right :p

Then finally we reached the Pavilion shopping Mall where we parked our car and walk all the way to plaza Low yatt and down again :)

And then just as we think the night is finally over...not quite , we still havent had dinner yet so we quickly head home, dressed and ready for a night out in Bangsar. Initially we wanted to go to Opus or the other one i forgot but they were fully ooked so we went to our favourite place which is Telawi Bistro at Jalan Telawi in Bangsar.

and this is an interesting picture coz according to mon coeur this is the same brand as his scooter which we rode that morning just that its the earliest version of it years back! and its park outside the Telawi a so....a good idea to capture this one then :)


Oklah the night is finally over, and we both had the mosy wonderful time together and hope to have this crazy but wonderful day again soon :)
