Wonderful skype confrence!

 One of the most wonderful things that was invented is :

1. Internet
2.Skype


Without these two things i don't think it is possible to communicate with family and friends from all over the world and i am so thankful for this two inventions :)


For example, yesterday, i get to talk to my mom and nephew for a bit and carry on the conversation even when my mom is cooking hehehhe and i can watch her going about in the kitchen cooking and showing me what she's been cooking and all. I find it the most wonderful experience coz i get to see her live and doing about her business like normal and this makes me feeling less anxious or worried about how they are doing back home :)

And the second best thing is that i get to see my dogthat i left under my parents care while I'm abroad and it's so strange that my dog recognises me by my voice and still folllow my commands :)


All in all i had a wonderful chat with my family and hope to do that again soon :)

Jumeirah Beach :)

 Ahhh.... just what we needed to do to loosen up those knots and tangles in our body and mind after being cooped up at home for the past three months when we were back in Angola and now we have these beautiful beach to look forward to during the weekend :)

 Well the water looks deliciously tempting but unfortunately when i step in with just one foot it was like about 23 degrees or something so i bailed out and left mon coeur to enjoy his refreshing swim alone hhehe It was just too cold for my Asian skin to withstand the cold water :)

Finally a photo of us :) I must say even with a 50% SPF sun screen and under the shade all the time i still get dark...hrumppppff have to up the SPF next time i go to the beach i guess.

All in all we had a wonderful time spending at the beach and enjoying the sunshine and so i leave you with this picture of a bird i accidentally captured while taking a picture of th beach :)

House hunting + Jalan-jalan cari makan :)

Its the weekend and so we decided to check out some places in Dubai coz we are currently house/home hunting as we call it and we started off from Sharjah and then to Dubai and at the same time in between had some lunch and went to check out the beach :)

Our very own World clock :)

 Every time we move to a new country we would have three clocks lining up to indicate the time in Malaysia, France and the current time we have and in this case we have Dubai time. All this is to help facilitate us to know the exact time at our respective home country in order to help us catch our family back home at the right time to call them :)

so here is the result of my hubby's handy craft using postcards of famous monuments in our respective countries and stick them on a 2 dollar clock that we bought from Ikea and Voila!
We have ourselves a wold clock just like at the airport hehehe :)

Goodbye Angola! & Hello UAE :)

Finally i have some time or rather the mood to write something on my blog and that's because we have said goodbye to Angola and Hello to Dubai.

Our last ride to Luanda Airport

t didnt take us too long to venture out into Dubai city and of course our first stop is surely Ikea Dubai :) We had to check out this place to get us some supplies for our temporary abode at the moment. So it is busy bee for both of us for now but at the same time enjoying every minute of  our stay here and discovering new things especially when soon we will be discovering parenthood together in this new place we call hme at the moment and making the best of it :)

And here are my deprived food extravaganza :) hehehhe
For all the times we were living in Angola i couldn't get my hands on any of these yummy food and now especially when i am  pregnant, i was going crazy craving for these stuff and in Angola i could only imagine having them  and it was hard....then FINALLY, we move to Dubai and the first chance we get my hubby lets me have my Day by letting me lose at one of the burger king outlet here and  demanded the biggest burger they have and it was like walking on air when I sank my teeth into them XXL Whopper burger!
What a Whopper indeed :) Kept me quiet all the while we were having lunch :)

Then we got busy inside Ikea for a good hour and a half before we had to scoot ourselves to do some groceries shopping.

Although im pretty good at camouflaging my pregnant belly but i sure cant hide my penguin standing position. hahahah :)
