on another note....

 Finally last friday, Dh brough with him a package he got from work and he said ah i'm sure this is what you have been waiting for...and i just knew what it was :))

The package!

My favourite goodies  were in it packed especially for me and DH by our dear friend Philippe in France!!These Barres of sweetness is just delicious and you can make them into anything and as for me i put them in my Tiramisu and also yougurt just to have flavour in them coz these sweets are actually highly concentrated fruits and they are 100% natural fruits, bio and more so they are sugar free! They are very good treats for kiddies too :)

Oh! thank thank you thank you philippe for getting this package to us! 

merci beaucoup and we sure to treat you when we are back in France this december :)

 just to show you the quantity is and its a lot!! about 30 all of them i think it was with all our favourite flavour such as Framboise, peach and Fraise (strawberries)

Ahh..i forgot something....

Before i post our last bit of our Malaysian "Balik Kampung" Vacation here is something that was a surprise to me and also a coincidence and that is to meet up with my old time coursemate buddy from college years Jennet aka nenet :)

i was making backup of my telephone storage and when i was browsing through the folders and i saw this and i remembered how this photo happened to be :)

Coincidentally, my mom went to parked the car somewhere in UMS and suddenly i heard a voice saying "Si Pitch kah tuh"?  and i recognised the voice indeed and it was Jennet's voice and her car was parked just next to us and she saw me from her side mirror hehhhe....we didnt have much time to chat but it's enough to say i've missed her and it was nice to catch up with her after for about 10 long years or so. Phew! what a chance and what luck we have :)

But anyways, Nenet, it was nice to see you and hope our friendship grows just like our age does and hope to visit you and Keningau one day soon :)

DAY 70 - My Friend from Korea :)

Last year during valentines day my hubby took me to Amsterdam for a romantic getaway and during this time is when i met a new friend called Eun Young Koe. In just a few minutes we became good friends :)

She took a picture of me and soon we took pictures of each other and said that we will send each other pictures and guess what?? the email she sent me was last year and i just read it today!!! it was marked as junk in my email coz she had a different character onher name and the email filtering made it as junk :( Luckily today i went to scan through roughly my email in the junk and suddenly her email caught my eye and i opened it and found a picture an a short note. i was quite annoyed at the incident but i hope she will write back to me again as i finally sent her a reply. Im crossing my finggers that i'll get a reply from her soon at the mean time here are pictures of us in amsterdam :)

DAY 39 - African Night :)

Our friend Elo & Sebastien hosted yet another wonderful party again recently and this time it was African night. Actually we just call it that way because she was inviting her Nigerian friends to come for dinner and she is making one Nigerian dish which is dried fish cooked with some spices and vegetables which was delish.

The night was young and i must say, we had a wonderful time laughing, dancing and some fun with the camera too :)

DAY 34 - Crêpe Day :)

Just as i said i would do yesterday, here are some of the pictures taken from the Crêpe Day that we celebrated last night with our awesome host Sebastien and Elo.

It was indeed a marvelous evening with yummylicous Crêpe and some drinks :)

Not only do the French eat a lot of crêpes on Chandeleur, but they also do a bit of fortune telling while making them. It is traditional to hold a coin in your writing hand and a crêpe pan in the other, and flip the crêpe into the air. If you manage to catch the crêpe in the pan, your family will be prosperous for the rest of the year

DAY 33 - La Chandeleur = crêpe day in France

FEBRUARY 2 is the Catholic holiday of Candlemas, a feast to commemorate the purification of the Virgin Mary and the presentation of the baby Jesus forty days after his birth.

For many French people La Chandeleur is a chance to enjoy a lot of crêpes, as well as do some fortune telling while making them. If you know how to do both that is IF not just enjoy the crêpe :)

I had this crêpe last year with christine when we visited Angers and decided to have crêpe for dinner this one is what i had i think it was curry chicken with crêpe...yummilicious indeed:)

I remembered 2 years ago we had a ball having crêpe day with our guests From France, Phillipe and my sister Melissa and mal. I remember i was so impressed when Phillipe did crêpe flambées au Grand Marnier.

DAY 13 - Coffee Break with Elo :)

Here is some of the "petit madeline" i made especially for this rendezvous with my good friend Elo here in Luanda. What is a coffee break without some goodies eh? heheh
so we finished the madelines in no time :)


it was a wonderful afternoon spent with my good friend Elo:) And definately we are going to do a lot of this woman chats and get together in the near future :)

Junie Meets KL :)

Junie came to KL for a short Holiday with her family and we took the opportunity to meet up and so we did :) We met up in SOGO and all i wanted to eat was Nasi Lemak so we went to Kopitiam and chit chat over our late lunch together :)

Junnie just as she was before with her throaty laugh and nasal sounding voice you can never have any trouble locating her in the big crowd hehehe :)
