Exercise to Get High

Can you actually get high from exercise? Many people report a feeling of euphoria after engaging in exerting fitness routines such as running, swimming, biking and heavy workouts at the gym.According to Harvard Medical School psychiatrist , Dr. John Ratey, "There is a runner's high but most people really do not get it. Almost everyone, however, gets a boost in mood and usually fairly quickly.

"Dr. Ratey has written a book, Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain that is due out in January, 2008.While the phenomenon is still not completely understood, studies conducted at the American College of Sports Medicine show that exercise seems to raise levels of various chemicals in our body that help to elevate our mood.

If the thought of getting physically fit and improving your overall well-being isn't inspiration enough, consider that a serious exercise routine may actually give you a "high" and improve your mood.

Spring Cleaning! Out with the old ...In with the new :)

Well since im not doing anything much this weekend i've decided to clear out my room...well at least a smaller portion of my room only :) Even this part of the smaller portion is a bit ridiculously difficult to clear out..it seemed like i have to throw away a lot of unwanted things...i've also found a lot of old memories like photos of EX and stuffs that reminded of the EX so well its all inside the dustbin now where it belongs :) Such a relieve indeed! Out with the old in with the new...yeah i feel good now :)

In the midst of clearing out the unwanted memories of yesteryears I also found something soo soo sooo precious to me that i will keep for as long as i live i should say...and thats a hand knitted sweater or a shawl made by grandma long long time ago when i was about 5 to 8 years old. She made a few for me and my sister and this is one of them! im so glad it lasted this long and i think i will pass it down to my children when the time comes :) This is another one of my treasured item in my life and will bring it where ever i go. Love you grandma!

This is the sweater i wore when i was about 8 years old and that wonderful lady beside me is my beloved grandma!

I also found my long lost 3.5 inch shoes which i thought was lost and gone forever....then when i open one of those shoe boxes..there it is so I'm ecstatically happy bout that now and cant hardly wait to wear it tomorrow. As im writing this i still have heaps to of things to do but because i found my shoe just then i cant keep quiet and i need to write about now :)

Ok Amey is the first tagger here and i have to tell an embarrassing moment that happened to me :) hmnn..ok let's see...ahh....i got one :)

Well this is when i was back in Aussieland. I have lost some weight at one point and all my clothes were either too big or just faling off my ass...but anyhow, one night some of my classsmates and myself went to a club where we can have some drinks and play pool at the same time. so i went home and check my wardrobe i dont have many stuffs to wear coz everythng just seemed like too big so since i was in a hurry i just wore what is available and thts a size 30 jeans and a big sweater. But i noticed tht the zipper kept going down coz its too lose on me. So it was my turn to play the pool. I was so enjoying it and was winning too and then i noticed tht the guys are all looking to watch me play then i was like wah! kembang lah konon! but then again at the back of my mind.....ermn...why are they fix on me arr.... macam lah i know how to play sangat..hahaha...then finally afer palying for a long while i feel like wow where did this cool gush of air coming from and tickle the skin just below my tummy...then i look down .....OMG! my zippers.....they are way down there (sob! sob! sob!) it's wide open all the time no wonder wonder those crazy morones classmates of mine were fixing their eyes looking at me exposed pink panties ....aiyohhhHH! so embarrasing....if there was a hole there at the time i would have jump in it! :( so memalukan :(( then i went home and wish upon wish that they (my morone classmates) would shut up about the incident but NOPE....the next day it was miss pinky panties for me in the classroom for as long as i know...hahahhaa well, thts me being tagged by ms prettykismet :)
